August – Bass Pale Ale

The Bass Brewery was founded as a brewery in 1777 by William Bass in Burton upon Trent, England.  The main brand was Bass Pale Ale, which was once the highest selling beer in the UK.  The company became one of the main breweries in the UK, and Bass Pale Ale was exported throughout the British Empire.

The distinctive red triangle became the UK’s first registered trademark.  Bass Pale Ale consists of a taste that has moderate amounts of biscuit malts with some lighter notes of caramel malts that contribute light sweetness.  Hints of light fruity yeast and some light bitterness which disappears quickly.
September – Sam Adams Octoberfest
This beer style became a staple beer of the annual Oktoberfest celebration in Munich, Germany.  Sam Adams Octoberfest is a deep red amber in color and has a delicious harmony of sweet flavors from five varieties of malted barley.  Hearty and smooth, the harmony of sweet flavors from the malt including caramel and toffee are balanced with hand selected Bavarian Noble hops.
October – Pyramid Hefeweizen
Pyramid has been proudly brewing quality beers in the Pacific Northwest since 1984.  Their heritage has been built on award winning brews worth sharing with friends.  This “hef” became the flagship beer for all wheat ales.  It is orange-brown in color and hazy.  It appears to have hints of wheat, coriander, caramel and banana.
