As I sit here in deep thought, I came to the conclusion that I have been in love two times.  Now I know what you are thinking, how could the “Luv Doctor” only have been in love twice in his life?  Well there are a few reasons why I say this.  First off, I do have to say that my first love was my ex-wife.

Of course it did not last and there are many regrets on both sides, but yes it was love.  I know a lot of you are saying, what makes you an expert on knowing what love really is.  Well a few years ago, if I went out with someone that got me excited, I thought I was in love.  Of course, like a lot of you, it was more like being in lust.  Believe me, I did think I was in love many times.  How many of you have been in love, or possibly being in love, with the thought of being in love.  In other words, wanting to believe you are, but in reality, you really are not in love.  So how do you know, if you really are?

Everyone has their own criteria, of what they are looking for.  I will tell you my story.  A while ago I met this very nice woman, who at the time was already in a relationship.  I am the type of person that will not pursue someone who is in a relationship.  We became good friends, no benefits.  I was able to get to know someone very well inside and out, without the thought of dating.  Then one day she told me the relationship was waning.  She started joining me more and more for coffee, my favorite.  Believe it or not, I was still being a gentleman, and kept our relationship as friends.  As we were having coffee one evening, she told me that it had been over for a while, and reached over and gave me a nice kiss.  Well to make a long story short, things took off.  Since we were already good friends, going to the next step felt effortless.  Everything started falling into place.  It started to look like we might be perfect for each other.  I was so happy, and then something happened.
I ran out of space, so you will have to wait till next month to read the thrilling, and exciting ending.  Will I finally get the woman of my dreams, or get shot down again?
