Delicious food, generous guests and beautiful ladies filled the Oaks Grille at TPC on Sunday, October 7 for the 2012 Bras for a Cause – Saluting Our Hometown Heroes. Since the club began sponsoring this event, Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley has raised more than $180,000 to help fund various breast cancer initiatives in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Featuring 21 gorgeous bras with wonderful extras available for auction, this year’s event raised aprox. 19,000 to add to that total in support of breast cancer research. This year marks the 38th anniversary of SISCV in our Valley and new club president Cindi Diaz chose the phrase, “Serving Together in Perfect Harmony” as her theme for 2012. With nearly 95,000 Soroptimist in 120 countries, what are you waiting for? Get involved and join a group of wonderfully giving women making a difference!
