“Thank you to Mann Biomedical Park and MannKInd Corporation, we were able to change our walk site to Mann Biomedical Park this year and we have had a  lot of positive feedback on the location,” states Lori Blumenthal, Manager, Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes .  “Our three biggest corporate teams were Kaiser Permanente with 120 walkers, Nestle with 70 walkers, and Walgreens with over 50 walkers. Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital performed blood glucose screenings and foot screenings, and Care Concepts provided the grand raffle prize of six box seats to the Lakers vs. Golden State Game at Staples Center. Thank you to everyone who helped make Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes a big success. Together we can stop diabetes. One step at a time.”
