There is truly nothing as personal as something homemade, right?  Whether it is for a gift or something for yourself, a hand knit or crocheted scarf or sweater always feels and looks comfortable and unique, as it should, after all, it is one-of-a-kind, right?

With the help of the caring professionals at Simply Knitting, you can keep your hands busy and your heart and soul fulfilled as you indulge in the age-old hobby of knitting and crocheting.

After 20 years working in retail advertising, Karen Elmo took her love of colors and textures and opened the Santa Clarita store.  Now three years later, she is taking on a business partner, Debi Cox to give you twice the expertise and guidance with all your handiwork projects.

The premier knitting boutique offers much more than great service though, their selection of yarns is quite impressive.
“We carry luxurious hand-painted and natural fiber yarns not carried by the big craft chains, including hand-dyed silks, alpacas, llama, bamboo and hemp, plus accessories like needles and step-by-step books,” says Elmo.

Realizing the importance of supporting the community, Simply Knitting has participated in the Bras for a Cause annual fundraiser, the Revlon RunWalk, as well as Soroptimist International events.  Also, the ladies have an ongoing knit a square for charity in store project for Afghan donations.

“We are using knitting as a way to interlace creativity, community and therapy,” says Elmo.  Obviously, it’s working.
Here’s what Simply Knitting customers are saying:

“It’s my bar hangout.”

“Simply Knitting saved my life.”

“You have a huge selection of yarns and I love the warm and friendly atmosphere.”

Simply Knitting is open seven days a week.  Call for store hours. It’s definitely not too early to begin your Christmas gift projects, so get busy.
