A sunny autumn afternoon was the setting for the fifth annual Sunset in the Vineyard benefiting the programs of Assistance League Santa Clarita. Once again, Chris and Jeannie Carpenter and Tim Carpenter opened their homes to host the event focusing on the local vintners, wine growers, brewers and artisans of Santa Clarita.
A sold out crowd of over 400 guests came together surrounded by historic oak trees and a hillside vineyard. They enjoyed a superb arrangement of hors d’oeuvres handcrafted by Assistance League volunteer members and the College of the Canyons Institute of Culinary education. Kudos to Chris, Jeannie and Tim Carpenter for providing a lovely venue that is a one-of-a-kind in Santa Clarita for this event and to Leila Rosenberger and her committee for, once again, making this an event not to be missed.
