Hurricane Sandy may have passed, but victims on the East Coast are continuing to pick up the pieces. In an effort to help the American Red Cross in their relief efforts, local blogger and founder of EveWine101.com, Eve Bushman partnered with Al Robles and Terri Rivera, the owners of Cheers at All Corked Up, and Shelly Schutz, one of the owners and managing partner of All Corked Up Wine Storage, for the Pour Into Sandy wine-tasting fundraiser on Wednesday, November 14.
Approximately 200 guests gathered together for a classy night out that included food, wine, and live entertainment provided by Joe Iaquinto and Friends. Guests were invited to participate in the silent auction in which all the proceeds were also donated to the American Red Cross. The charity event, introduced by Eve’s Wine writer Michael Perlis, was a huge success raising over $7,000 to provide aid for the many victims of Hurricane Sandy.
