Super Fresh Marketplace is a new full service international grocery store serving the Santa Clarita Valley. The concept of the market is to provide customers with all the products found in a traditional grocery store while offering specialty items from around the world.
The heart of the store is the produce department stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables handpicked throughout the week from local farmers and vendors. They also offer a wide selection of premium meat, poultry and fish (including halal beef and poultry, and leg of lamb)–all at competitive and affordable prices. The Service Deli features gourmet cheeses, cold cuts and an olive bar with items from Greece, Italy, Morocco and Lebanon. The Kitchen serves a variety of daily specials, and The Bakery offers delicious sweets featuring freshly baked rolls, Armenian cakes and cookies, and specially designed gelatin treats for special occasions throughout the year. A new shopper may be surprised to find international products such as Russian chocolate, freshly ground Middle Eastern coffee, Persian and Indian spices, marinated kabobs, stuffed grape leaves, lavash, Armenian preserves, exotic nuts and a self-serve honey stand. Non-perishable specialty items can also be found such as KeraSys, a line of Korean hair care products. Time after time customers leave the store thanking the Manager saying, “I can’t believe how good these prices are!” The market is owned and operated by three families; Grigor Changryan, Mouses Bislamyan and Sam Panosyan of Sam’s Flaming Grill. The trio grew up together in Hollywood and always dreamed of owning a business together. Since opening day in November, they have worked together side by side to ensure that the freshest and finest products are made available to their customers.
