For the past two years running, Lowe’s Music has earned the votes of the people in the community to become voted The Best Music Store in the Santa Clarita Valley. Celebrating their sixth anniversary just last month, the store raised money to help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by having a charity fundraiser that has become an annual event.
Last year, they received a certificate from the Diabetes Foundation for raising $1,155 in the month of August. This year’s anniversary fundraiser also had live music from bands such as Flaverbox, who just got back from a small tour in Japan. For more information on the band check out myspace/flaverbox. Other bands performing at this year’s anniversary fundraiser included Satyr, True Devotion, and the popular blues band, Blues Label, with retired police sergeant, Mark Aragon on bass.
