On Wednesday, September 5, John Lutz from the California Highway Patrol will present Safe Driving for Seniors, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Activity Rooms one and two of the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street, in Newhall.

In addition, other Consumer Lectures for September at the SCV Senior
Center will be:

On September 12, speaker Anthony Seccoro, a Certified Senior Advisor, will present important information on How to Protect Your Assets.  This will be a fun event celebrating Hawaiian day with refreshments and prizes.
On Wednesday, September 19, Dr. Jonathan Greenberg will present a discussion on Snoring and Sleep Apnea.

On Wednesday, September 26, Dr. Richard Kuritzkes from Providence Holy Cross Medical Center speaks on “Colon Cancer, Diagnosis, Prevention, and Treatment.”  All lectures are in Activity Rooms one and two from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the scheduled days.

In addition, the following free health clinics will be offered at the SCV
Senior Center in September:

On Tuesday, September 4, Hearing Clinic from 11 a.m. to noon in the Respite Office by Randall Bartlett, M.A., courtesy of Audiology Services of Newhall.

On Thursday, September 13, Dr. Shane Rhodes, D.P.M., will provide free foot screenings in the respite office from 11 a.m. to noon.

Blood pressure screening takes place in Activity Room 3 each Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m.
