Roll out the red carpet, Santa Clarita, the stars are most certainly here! Thank you to all of you who have submitted sightings. It’s so much fun to see the photos and hear the stories about your encounter with the celebs. I’ve had a few myself this last month, but let’s save those for the next issue.
In other news—award winning broadcast journalist Rick Chambers was seen in Santa Clarita a few months ago. Santa Clarita resident Nelly Mardiros snapped a photo with the news anchor in 1999 and some 13 years later, sighted the celebrity once again. Rick was kind enough to take another photo with Nelly, along with her brothers Anthony and Thomas.
Rick Chambers is currently the co-anchor of the KTLA Weekend News and Sunday Edition. The Emmy award winning reporter also worked with CBS 2 and KCAL 9, to name a few, and continues to show his support for the non-profit organizations in our Valley.
