It was an evening of fun on Saturday, April 13, as guests gathered in the Old Town Newhall Library to taste wines, foods prepared by the best local chefs and peruse through silent auction items at the A Toast and a WiSH: A Benefit for the Future Leaders of Santa Clarita.
“The event raised over $24,000 and WiSH is more than doubling the amount to buy over $60,000 in WiSH list lab science equipment for every single school in the William S. Hart Union High School District,” stated Amy Daniels, WiSH Education Foundation Executive Director and Board Secretary. “One hundred percent of the ticket sales and auction directly supports programs in the Hart School District,” according to co-hosts of the event, Eve Bushman and Marlee Lauffer.
