On Thursday, May 2, realtors from around the Santa Clarita Valley hosted the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off to give back to our community. The event attracted 34 chili chefs and they all entered their secret recipes.
Proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off went towards benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project, Sparks of Love, SCV Youth Project, Domestic Violence Center and Rescues on the Runway. The event was located at the Embassy Suites in Valencia. Nicole Stinson of Estate Realty commented, “I love chili and we’ve been wanting to do this forever. It just started off as a little idea on a napkin and it turned out to be a great event!” Her goal was to help 30 families avoid foreclosures this year.
