Thousands of people came to show their support for the American Cancer Society’s 15th annual Relay for Life of SCV. The overnight event began on Saturday, May 18 at Central Park in Saugus, beginning with the Survivor Lap. Teams walked the course, enjoying activities located around the track for the 24-hour event.
The evening included a special Luminaria Ceremony, honoring those who lost their lives to cancer. On Sunday, Relay for Life concluded with the Fight Back and Closing Ceremony. The popular event raised over $310,000 net for the American Cancer Society.
