I am sure you are all wondering how the auction went?  Did anyone bid on me, and if so, how did the date with the winning bidder go?  Well you will just have to wait till next month to find out.  Why?  The article needed to be sent in before the auction took place.  So next month’s article will hopefully be a doozy.
In the meantime, let’s talk dating.

I have had the opportunity to talk to many professionals, and a lot of my readers about do’s and don’ts on dating.  You should never pick someone up on a first date.  I have to bring this up, because I just recently heard about this woman who picked up a guy on a first date, because he said his car was in the shop.  They go on the date, and afterwards as they walk back to her car, he pulls a gun and carjacks her car.  You always want to meet at a public place, i.e. coffee house, or a restaurant.  Be very careful if you decide to try online dating.  It would be so much easier if everyone was honest online, but they aren’t.  Some guys lie about their height, and some ladies lie about their age.  Both put on pictures of how they used to look.  I get a kick out of some profiles that say they want someone with a sense of humor, oh and make about a million a year, so they can travel everywhere.  I have also gotten an earful about kissing on a first date.  There is no right or wrong on this subject, so I will just stay neutral, and just say do what feels right on your date.  What about when you want to take it to the next level?  Be smart and safe about it, so you hopefully won’t have any regrets about it.  I want to ask who ever started the idea that a first date is a meeting not a date?  When you ask someone out, it’s a date!  There is no minimum dollar amount that makes it a date.  You do not go out to a nice restaurant, then say that’s a date, but then go to a coffee house and say, well it was just coffee, so that’s a meeting.  It’s ok to say you went on a bad date, but to say it was a bad meeting?  Really!  In simple terms, a date, is a date, is a date.  Good luck to me at the auction.
