It was a beautiful day at the 5th Annual Summer Showdown to benefit the SCV Senior Center as guests enjoyed a day of world-class golf, food, fun and prizes on Monday, June 24 at the beautiful Tournament Players Club in Valencia.
Nearly $30,000 was raised from the event which will help pay for assessments, in-home visits, meals, and Alzheimer’s care for some of the 10,000 seniors the SCV Senior Center serves. Last year, the Center served more than 55,000 meals on-site to seniors and delivered 82,000 meals to homebound seniors.
