We at Ma Maison are celebrating our tenth year in business this August and wanted to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support of our store. Your patronage over the past 10 years has not only kept us SCV’s most unique home décor and gift store but has also inspired us to stay innovative in these ever changing economic times.
Earlier this year, we were excited to have moved from Valencia to a beautiful store in downtown Newhall. If you haven’t seen the downtown area, it’s a must to visit. The streets are lined beautifully with trees and a brick sidewalk to peruse up and down Main Street. With the addition of the library at the end of Main Street, it’s a bustling center of town. The community spirit is unwavering and together, the retailers who make their home in downtown Newhall have come together to celebrate block parties, sponsored by the City of Santa Clarita. One is planned for the fall, so keep your eyes on this spot for more information. The nostalgia of a small downtown area is infectious and we look forward to many more positive changes on the horizon.
Since last year, we have also expanded our business horizons and have a comprehensive website, Facebook and Pinterest presence that we invite you to check out. We also offer layaway to help spread out the cost on larger purchases or to get a head start on holiday shopping, it’s never too early to start making plans.
Ma Maison is easy to find, right on Main Street in Newhall. We are across the street from the live theatres in an adorable green building that looks like a house, and yes, we still have our signature hot pink bougainvillea out front. At the back of the store you will find our latest addition, Mon Jardin, or My Garden. We had always envisioned a backyard garden, complete with wind chimes, bird feeders and beautiful live succulent arrangements in a variety of vintage silver teapots and antique stoneware, everything you need to decorate your patio or garden.
