In the coming months, Judy Larson, top scratchboard artist; William Phillips, top painter of landscapes, aviation and idyllic Americana scenes; and Robert Copple, who paints romantic and European scenes, as well as wildlife, will all be appearing at the B&R Gallery on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country.
Judy is known for her beautiful equine and wildlife scratchboard paintings and has been quoted as saying, “My desire is to engage viewers on three levels: first, by revealing the beauty of animals through intricate detail, second, by concealing a hidden image that draws the viewer to examine the painting more closely and through which I can tell a story and third, by promoting a deeper awareness of the environment on a level that will hopefully have an impact.”
Robert Copple’s Romantic Moods paintings take you to beautiful destinations where you can forget about your worries and enjoy a fine glass of wine with a loved one.
William S. Phillips often spends days observing landscape subjects. Finding companionship with the land, he is able to convey the boundlessness of nature on the painted canvas inspiring a reverence for the natural landscape in its beholders.
The schedule for the shows is as follows: Robert Copple on Saturday October 6, Judy Larson on Sunday, November 11 and William Phillips on Saturday, December 1st. All shows are from 1 to 4 p.m. You are invited for wine tasting and refreshments and to visit with these talented artists. Admission is free.
