Traditional Italian ingredients, recipes and cooking methods are the only ones we’ll ever use at Pizza del Sardo. Nothing has been Americanized or changed for the American market. Early each morning we light the fire in our huge gas and wood-burning oven, and begin preparing for our customers.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Many of the high quality of ingredients (flours, cheeses, spices and meats) are imported directly from Italy and combined with the fresh produce of California to create the distinctive flavors of each of our authentic Italian pizzas, pastas, paninis, salads and other dishes. Our food is carefully made fresh from scratch each day. We refuse to use pre-made or pre-packaged ingredients. One taste and you can tell the difference between real Italian food and the fast food “Italian” restaurants you may be used to. What we serve at Pizza del Sardo is the same food that we serve to our own families.
