I would first like to thank all the women who emailed me last month. The responses overwhelmed me. I really was not expecting so many emails. It made for a very tough decision. I wish I could take them all out, but it could only be one. Unfortunately, I had to write this article before the date. So you will have to wait until next month to see how it went.
In the meantime, it’s time to talk about my latest date. We met on an online site. I asked her out, and she said yes.
We had a very nice time, and I asked if we could get together again. Of course, I was happy when she said yes. It took a little while to try to get together, since our work hours were different. The day came, and go figure… I was working late. I called her to see if she would not mind meeting later. Again, she said yes. When I finally got off, I called her, and she was already at the restaurant with her best friend. They were going to a wine bar, and told me to meet them there. So I said yes, and headed out to meet them. I walked into the place, and looked around. My first thought was this is a good place for guys to come. There were women everywhere. I finally saw my date, and her girlfriend. Let me just say that I was with the two hottest women in the place. They were drinking champagne, so I just ordered a beer. Her friend was very nice, and married. They were very animated, and when the band started, they wanted to dance to every song. I was a bit tired from a long day, but they finally pulled me out there for one song. At the end of the night, they were going to call a cab. Since I was able to drive, I did the gentleman thing and gave them a ride home. I dropped her friend off first, then my date. We shared a nice hug, then said goodnight. All and all, it was a great night.
I would like to say Happy New Year to everyone. Let’s make this year a great year for singles to meet. Yes, Santa Clarita is supposedly a married community, but there are a great number of singles out here, too. You just have to be persistent, and be at the right place at the right time. I know, where is the right place? Well it’s where you enjoy going. People think that they have to go to a bar to find someone. So let me hear from you on where the right places are out here.
