The Saugus High School Marching Band and Colorguard has done it again! For the 12th consecutive year they were invited to participate in the SCSBOA (Southern California School Band and Orchestra) championships making them the ONLY Band and Colorguard in the Santa Clarita Valley to have achieved such an honor as only the top 12 High School Bands are invited to this exclusive event each year. Out of the 12 bands in their division-3A Saugus came in seventh place.
We would also like to invite you and your families and friends to attend Jazz Night taking place the second Wednesday of each month through May. Saugus has the only Jazz Band to have performed shows regularly over the past 24 years in a row with 15 years at Vincenzo’s Pizza in Saugus. The Band receives a donation each month from the proceeds and often times has special guest performers-usually local folks who volunteer to join in the fun! Be sure to get there early or it’s standing room only!
