Guests at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center got lost in the splendor and beauty of dance as D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment took their audience on A Journey Through the World of Ballroom on Saturday, January 18.
Directed by Willy Arroyo and choreographed by Willy Arroyo and Ingrid Blanco in collaboration with Maritza Rosales, dancers donned in vibrant and colorful costumes captured the hearts of the audience as the showdance told the story of a child and his journey to become a professional ballroom dancer. The program began with an opening waltz with a variety of dance styles ranging from African and contemporary dance routines to the sexy rumba, which were performed throughout the evening.
