On Friday, February 7, Ceramic Artist Studio Inc., (CASI), had its grand opening in Old Town Newhall. The event was held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the brand new, 2,000 square foot ceramics studio. The ceremony included a tour of the studio as well as a live demonstration of a potter’s wheel. Along with refreshments and live music, the town gave a warm welcome to the new “artist’s paradise.”
The Ceramic Artist Studio Inc. offers pottery lessons and ceramic artist memberships for both adults and teens. The studio was intended to be a place of comfort for artists of all levels and that is exactly what was accomplished. The supplies are high quality and the atmosphere is made for an absolute artist complete with bright lights, controlled temperature, and a stereo system. The studio also provides skilled teachers for the classes taken by teens and adults.
