Wow, I had a great surprise last month when I had a phone call from a person who read my February article and wants to help create an art center.  The caller told me how much they thought the city of Santa Clarita needed an art center and why.  Of course, this was so great for me to know there is an interest in SCV having art center. I hope I will hear from some more people telling me they want our city to have an art center and why.

Yes, your opinion is very important and I hope to hear from more people who live in Santa Clarita and feel an art center would be a great asset for everyone.
A community needs to create an art center for residents to enjoy new experiences, new ideas and new challenges that underlie much of what makes America so extraordinary.
An art center would provide many different kinds of programs such as: professional art exhibits, visual art demonstrations and lectures, art classes for children and adults, opportunities for theater productions, areas for reading art books and enjoying the environment. Santa Clarita offers a variety of different art experiences but there is not a place where residents can go every day of the week to look and think about ideas that will last for a lifetime.  An art center will contribute profoundly to how Santa Clarita looks and feels in creating a community that is distinctive and memorable as a place to live, learn, and work.
It is my hope I will hear from people who are interested in all of the benefits of having an art center created in SCV. Please let me hear from you.
