There are many benefits to having perfect attendance in school. You’ll never miss an assignment, your grades will go up, and your test scores will improve. But did you ever think that going to school could win you a car?
Hart Union School district hosts an annual contest for those high school students with great attendance.

Students with an attendance rate of 97 percent or higher are entered in a raffle to win various prizes, including a car. Thanks to Nissan of Valencia for donating a brand new 2014 Nissan Versa, the lucky winner was Valencia High School junior Taylor Morrison. On a seemingly normal Monday night at College of the Canyons, Taylor Morrison’s ticket was pulled and she became the most envied student in the whole stadium. The lucky student wore an expression of pure disbelief as she turned the key to her new set of wheels for the very first time. Taylor Morrison proves that going to class regularly will not only help you get into college, but it may just help you win the car of your dreams!
