This month, the Santa Clarita Adult Day Health Care Center, will show you how! In keeping with our goal of helping adults of all ages lead healthier and vibrant lives, our Center will be hosting the Summer Healthy Kick-Off, a Health and Wellness Fair to be held on Saturday June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our facility located on 23911 Calgrove Boulevard.
Come enjoy a day of free medical screenings, including: glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol testing, health risk assessments and body mass index (BMI), among other services. We will also be offering free massages, live entertainment, therapeutic equipment demonstrations, as well as valuable resources for adults with disabilities and frail seniors, including those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementia.
The Summer Healthy Kick-Off Health and Wellness Fair was organized in collaboration with Charter College and the members of the Santa Clarita Senior Alliance, who will also showcase their services to the community.
Santa Clarita Adult Day Health Care is the only state-licensed adult day health care program in the Santa Clarita Valley, offering nursing services, physical, occupational and speech therapies; recreational activities and social services, all under one roof. We serve adults with cognitive or physical impairments, traumatic brain injury and stroke patients, and frail seniors, especially those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementia. Our staff is state-licensed and our family-like environment promotes joy, independence and dignity in a warm and safe environment.
Our services are fully covered by MediCal Managed Care plans – HealthNet, L.A. Care, Anthem Blue Cross, Molina Healthcare, Care1st and Kaiser Permanente. We also accept private pay.
