The Santa Clarita Valley is often mentioned as a big town that has been able to hold on to small town value, and that was in full force on Memorial Day as a record turnout appeared at Eternal Valley for their annual celebration of those who had given their all for their country.
From World War II veterans whose eyes still shined upon viewing the flag, to the cloudless sky punctuated by the vintage airplane flyover in the famous “Missing Man “ formation, the capacity crowd reveled in the song and word as each branch of the military was applauded for their sacrifices made to maintain this country’s freedom.
