Assistance League® installed their newly-elected 2014-2015 Board of Officers at their Annual Meeting and Installation Dinner held June 4 at the Valencia Hills Clubhouse. A summer-themed cocktail hour and catered dinner was enjoyed by 85 enthusiastic members.

Assistance League is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to putting “caring and commitment into action” through community-based philanthropic programs.
This past fiscal year Assistance League Santa Clarita:
• returned over $221,000 in program services to our local community.
• assisted over 3,150 people. 
• has 152 member volunteers plus 50 Assisteens.
• contributed 21,679 volunteer service hours; Assisteens contributed 1,999 volunteer service hours included in that total.
During the 2013 – 2015 school year, Operation School Bell®, our national signature program, clothed 2050 students in the Santa Clarita Valley. The Santa Clarita Chapter operates the all-volunteer Assistance League Resale Shop located at 24364 Main Street in downtown Newhall. Proceeds from the Resale Shop and other fundraising events benefit their philanthropic programs.
