The original type of sushi was first made in Southeast Asia.   The contemporary version of sushi was created by Hanaya Yohei (1799-1858) at the end of the Edo period in Edo.
The main ingredients of sushi are raw fish and rice.

It’s naturally low in fat, high in protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals.  Other vegetables wrapped within the sushi also offer various vitamins and minerals.  Many of the seafood ingredients also contain omega-3 fatty acids, which have a variety of health benefits.
Salmon is especially high in omega-3 fatty acids, which are linked to improved cholesterol levels, lowered blood pressure, and decreased risk of abnormal heart rhythms.
Salmon sushi is one of our most popular items.  Come let our highly trained sushi chefs at Kyoto Sushi give you an amazing sushi experience that is fresh and healthy!  We also wanted to thank Santa Clarita for recently voting us number one Ultimate Sushi Restaurant.  Thank you so much and hope to see you soon.
