We all have age-old items in our home…but have you ever wondered more about where the antique came from? its age, use or more importantly, its value? Well wonder no more, Santa Clarita.

Come join The Painted Shutter & Co. as they will be hosting an appraisal event with the Old Town Newhall Association along with several supporting sponsors.  The “antique road show” like event will take place on October 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.otnappraisal2014.eventbrite.com or you can visit The Painted Shutter & Co.  Costs are $5 per item for a verbal appraisal or $10 at the door on the day of the event.  Online purchases are highly suggested, as tickets are limited for this exciting event. 
Don’t miss out on this unique event, which will include three highly accredited appraisers, each bringing their own expertise to handle items that may be brought in.  This will not only be a good learning experience for the customer but also to onlookers, as there is great excitement when learning the approximate value or age of the item.  Appraisers are also able to discuss the item in greater detail, possibly even explaining what the item was used for.
