“I was very lucky to see Kenny Loggins perform when I was in high school and to have the opportunity to share his great talent with my students and the entire Santa Clarita community thirty years later is… amazing!” Roger Brooks, Golden Valley High School band director stated.  “As a fund-raiser, this concert is ‘huge’ for the Golden Valley Band & Color Guard.  This will definitely be the event of the year for Golden Valley!”
Kenny Loggins’ remarkable four-decade-plus career has brought him from the top of the charts to the toast of the Grammys. He’s had smash hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages, and found his way into children’s hearts while bringing his soulful, beautiful voice to platinum albums of a stunning variety of genres. His gift for crafting deeply emotional music is unparalleled, and it’s been a part of his life as long as he can remember.
“We are so fortunate to have Kenny Loggins performing live at Golden Valley High School to benefit the successful band program here,” Golden Valley principal Sal Frias said. “We are thrilled to have such a world-class musician on our stage and appreciate his generosity in supporting this benefit concert.”
