The Repertory East Playhouse will open its 11th Season with the Tony Award Winning Musical Avenue Q. Sponsored by Mission View Public Charter.
What is Avenue Q about?

Avenue Q is a laugh-out-loud musical that tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. There, he meets Kate, Rod, Trekkie, Lucy the slut and other “colorful” types who help Princeton finally discover his purpose in life.
Winner of the Tony® “Triple Crown” for best musical, best score and best book, Avenue Q is part flesh, part felt and packed with heart. Filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, (not to mention puppets), Avenue Q is a truly unique show that has quickly become a favorite for audiences everywhere.
Adults love Avenue Q, but they seem a little, “fuzzy,” on whether it’s appropriate for kids. We’ll try to clear that up.  Avenue Q is great for teenagers because it’s about real life. It may not be appropriate for young children. Parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children. But we promise you this – if you do bring your teenagers to Avenue Q, they’ll think you’re really cool.
Avenue Q will run January 16 through February 14. There is no show Sunday February 1. Show times are Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. This show will sell out! Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for students and seniors. Group rates are available.
