Guests had a blast at the 3rd annual Bowling for Kids event, hosted by Taylor Kellstrom and the SCV Book Exchange, which was held on December 14. The event raised $3,850, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
There was a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, bowling, and toy donations. Silent auction items included items donated by the L.A. Kings, Anaheim Angels, L.A. Lakers, UCLA, Stevenson Ranch Car wash, One Industries, Apollo’s Barbershop, Vista Valencia Golf Course and Z Ultimate Defense studios. Guests enjoyed three hours of bowling, food from Jersey Mike’s and Mama Mia’s pizza, games and a raffle. Taylor was a patient at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles due to a motocross accident when he was 10 years old. “I’ve been very blessed in my life and always wanted to give back to an organization who took care of me when I was a little kid,” states Taylor. “With the help of amazing sponsors and a great turn out we’ve been able to put this event together for three years straight and plan to continue to do this event every December.”
