At Child Care Resource Center’s 18th Annual Legislative Forum held November 16 at The Odyssey Restaurant in Granada Hills a special honor was conferred upon Assemblymember Sharon Runner.
Assemblymember Runner received the 3rd annual “Key to Quality” award in honor of her legislative work on behalf of children, families and early care and education.  Throughout her career in the private and public sector, Runner has safeguarded over $300 million in childcare funding, lent her support to CCRC’s Matter of Minutes Safety Campaign, and served as a child advocate throughout California.

CCRC’s Legislative Forum brings together elected officials, educators, caregivers and advocates to enjoy breakfast and a panel discussion on issues facing children and families in our communities of the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.
