TasteoftheTown3One of the most anticipated and well-attended events of Santa Clarita is the Child & Family Center’s popular Taste of the Town, which will take place on May 3, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.  Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in delicious food and imbibe on the finest of wine, beer and more.  Come support a great cause while indulging in the Tastes of the Town.

“While Taste of the Town is certainly one of the most enjoyable and upbeat charitable events in our community, it’s crucial that people also understand how their support helps us,” said Lois Bauccio, Child & Family Center Foundation president/executive director. “Some of the children we help have suffered extreme physical, verbal and even sexual abuse. Some have witnessed domestic violence or family trauma. Some see no hope for their future and have attempted suicide. Without help, these children are more likely to have academic failure, use and abuse drugs and alcohol, become bullies or be bullied, or get involved with the legal system, often resulting in incarceration.” Lois Bauccio
