April showers bring May flowers…but June brings summer vacation and even more celebrities! The kids are out and so are the stars! Thank you for all your celebrity sightings. It is always such a pleasure to receive your emails and photos, and hear all about your star-studded encounters.
I had the awesome opportunity to meet Kristy Swanson the other day for the cover story for the June/July issue of élite Magazine. You may recognize Kristy as she is best known for her role as Buffy Summers in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also co-starred alongside Adam Sandler as his girlfriend in Big Daddy as well as played the dream girl in Dude, Where’s My Car. She’s also starred on television shows including CSI Miami, Growing Pains, Just Shoot Me! and has two movies that will be releasing later this year.
The Santa Clarita resident and actress was kind enough to snap a photo with me and talk a little about her life, her husband, two-time Olympic Bronze Medalist in Pairs Figure Skating Lloyd Eisler, and her new golf line, aDRESSitGOLF. Kristy recently served as the Grand Marshall for the Memorial Ride to Benefit the L.A. County Firefighter Widows & Orphans Fund, which took place in the SCV last month. She and her husband have also agreed to be guest celebrity judges for the upcoming Dancing With Our Stars fundraising event.
