Start up the car, load in your family and friends, and drive over the the Elks Annual Car & Bike Show and Chili Cook Off on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be something for everyone at this fun community event.
The classic, custom and muscle cars and motorcycles will be displayed in the parking lot. You can register to enter your pride and joy at 9 a.m. or you can walk around and appreciate the beautiful array of vehicles.
Put on your feedbag and enjoy the hot dogs and barbeque, followed by bake sale goodies and Wiki Wiki Shave Ice treats. The Elks Lounge bartenders will be on-hand with beverages. Enjoy the classic Southern California surf rock of Bone Sharks, playing live at this car show.
Sample and vote for the chili cook off entries, or bring in a crock pot full of your favorite much-acclaimed chili recipe to the Elks Lodge by 11 a.m. There is no entry fee, but there is an opportunity to win prizes and bragging rights for the best chili.
Browse the boutique and purchase gifts for the family, friends, and for yourself. Vendors will be on display with an array of handcrafted aprons, hats, quilts, soaps and lotions, candles, wood products, custom pet wear, t-shirts, jewelry, kitchen products, self defense, wreaths and so much more!
John and Christopher Howell of Photo Booth Hysteria will be taking fun photos for participants to keep as a remembrance of this special day.
Magician Juan Martinez will dazzle the audience with a magic show in the children’s activity area. There will also be face painting and games to play. It is rumored that George Washington will make a guest appearance in costume!
