Since its conception in 2012, Santa Clarita teens, organized by the Saugus Gay-Straight Alliance, have attended that LGBTQA Prom. Put on by the OUTreach Center and held at the Antelope Valley University on May 30, attendees were blown away by fairytale inspired decorations and great music throughout the night.

This dance is a way for students to feel comfortable with their significant other in a way that school-sanctioned dances often discourage.
After fundraising through GoFundMe, nearly $3,400 was raised, and 40 Hart District students were able to attend with tickets, flowers, and transportation paid for.
