On Tuesday June 9, Parashars’ Indian Kitchen, with the help of Team Connor, hosted a blood drive for 11 year-old Connor Coughenour, who was diagnosed with cancer last September. The turnout was fantastic, with tons of people coming to volunteer, donate, and have a bite of Indian food to eat. Thank you so much for joining us to “help Connor kick cancer in the rear!” We had a crazy time!
We also had a big surprise last month. For the second year in a row, Parashars’ Indian Kitchen was awarded élite Magazine’s Ultimate Indian Food award! We are so grateful to win this award again and want to thank everyone who makes this possible. Our owner, Poonam Parashar, says, “This is in honor of my mother, who inspired me to cook and whose recipes my family, and now our customers, will enjoy for generations.”
