On June 8, Santa Clarita resident Keith Ortiz organized a blood drive with 11 year-old Connor Coughenour in mind.
“Giving back and being selfless to help Christina Coughenour and her son Connor,” was Keith’s motivation for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles mobile blood drive.

Poonam Parashar of Parashars’ Indian Kitchen graciously helped organize and host the event at her restaurant.  Last August, Connor Coughenour was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma.  Connor just finished with 13 rounds of Chemotherapy.
Thankfully Connor is now cancer-free!
