The AARP Driver Safety Program has announced their SCV Senior Center teaching schedule for the year 2007. Instructors Roger Oleson and Glenn Grade alternate months throughout the year. Classes run Fridays from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This course covers the rules of the road as well as safety tips, and completion of this eight-hour class will earn each participant a three-year certificate, and for drivers 50 and over, an auto insurance credit.
Dates for 2007 are: January 12 and 13, Grade; February 9 and 10, Oleson; March 9 and 10, Grade; April 13 and 14, Oleson; May 11 and 12, Grade; June 8 and 9, Oleson; July 13 and 14, Grade; August 10 and 11, Oleson; September 7 and 8, Grade; October 12 and 13, Oleson; November 9 and 10, Grade; and December 7 and 8, Oleson.
