Her roots, though, are in San Antonio, Texas where she comes from a long line of amazing cooks including her uncle who was once the executive chef and owner of The Brownstone in Houston, Texas. Great food isn’t the only thing Shelly brings to her customers. Equally important are service and presentation. Savoring Thyme is all about the client. I then grocery shop, cook in your home, package your meals, and clean up, leaving your home spotless. Finally I provide detailed instructions for final food preparation. Although Shelly emphasizes the personal chef aspect of her business, she also offers catering services. As an Air Force wife, Shelly has thrown dozens of parties hosting hundreds of people. “I’ve always been told I should start my own catering business. After moving around for 11 years Santa Clarita feels like home, so I decided to go for it!”
