Carol Donnelly, licensed esthetician and owner of Dermal Solutions, Esthetic Center, had a vision, a vision to create a product that would control acne. With a limited income and a strong desire, she opted out of the direction her schooling was taking her and followed the path to become a licensed esthetician. She opened Dermal Solutions, Esthetic Center in Valencia and has successfully delivered the products and services that have helped her clients see results they expect and deserve—beauty at its best.
Carol’s vision led her to the creation of the pHreederm® Total Care System. Though the development of this product was, as Carol states, a “labor of love,” it has now reached markets all across the country and can be seen on television.
The pHreederm® Total Care System is a revolutionary skin care system that tackles acne and skin care ailments unlike any other product on the market today. The pHreederm® System is unique because it is the only skincare system that facilitates the healing and prevention of acne by starting with the root of the problem—the hair and scalp. The idea of this product came when Carol realized that hair care products were affecting the condition of her roommate’s skin. Thus came the birth of the idea of this product—inventing one system for both personal care along with a treatment to help heal acne.
The pHreederm® System of personal care products is designed without harmful ingredients that contribute to acne, eczema, and sun damaged skin. Carol stated, “It’s not what’s in our product, but rather what’s not in it. Many of the personal care products available coincidentally have ingredients and fillers that worsen the results of skin problems. After years of study, I finally created a product that has positive results for users.”
As Carol Donnelly’s pHreederm® System has reached markets nationwide, she does reminisce about the journey to get where she is at today. Many times she felt defeated. “I often thought I was crazy for pursuing this idea/product. Luckily, my clients kept my spirits up.”
Amidst a cold winter day, Carol’s dream was about to become a reality. “I specifically remember the day, when I sat back in my chair feeling sorry for myself. It was then that I got a call from a gentleman that got me in touch with many investment groups. I think of how far I’ve come, what a labor of love this has been and I just want to pinch myself!”
Carol Donnelly never gave up on the idea of her product. She pursued her dream and created a system of products that are not duplicable. Her persistence and passion has brought her success. Carol states, “I always knew in my heart I was on to something. I am finally so thrilled to share my product with everyone.”
Another product that Carol has been working on since 1998 is her acnepHree® product. This product will be sold and distributed to medical offices and used for medical treatments. She is delighted to have these two products out for people to not only look good, but feel good as well.
