If your could only hold and see your loved one’s hands forever, hmm, there’s a novel idea.  But, how is that possible?
Valencia entrepreneur Lisa Brewster has it covered, in clay, that is.  Brewster makes handcrafted ceramic impressions of hands and feet for newborn babies all the way up to seniors.

“Cutie Pie Prints are not just for babies.  They make great family records. I even make paw impressions for your favorite four legged family member,” says Brewster.

When recently experimenting with her work, she used her 85-year-old mother as a model and quickly realized what a special keepsake the imprint would be for many years and generations to come.

Choose from several shapes and assorted glazes to personalize the look of your prints.  Before the impression is glazed and fired in her home kiln, the name is etched onto the print, making it a classic and timeless piece of art suitable for any room in your home or at your office.

“I have always enjoyed crafts and working with my hands.  In the past, I designed and made jewelry.  Now that my youngest children are high school seniors, I have the time to turn my passion into a full time project that helps others keep the legacy of their loved one’s alive,” says Brewster.

She is currently preparing a proposal for a community service project where with the cooperation of a hospital, she would do impressions, free of charge for any parent who has lost an infant at birth.

“I have three healthy children and just feel so blessed.  This would be my way of giving back,” says Brewster, “I have truly found my passion and love what I’m doing.”

Besides that, babies and children bring joy into her life and make her smile, just as her new business is bound to do so for generations to come.  Imprints range in price from $20 to $75.

Gift certificates are also available for that unique baby shower or birthday gift you’ve been looking for.  Don’t forget, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are just around the corner and these treasures take between four and six weeks to complete from start to finish.
