We at B&R Gallery hope you had a good winter.  Now that the weather is warming and spring is here, we are planning for the upcoming months and summer fun.  B&R Gallery and Custom Framing is also busy ordering new and exciting art for its collection.  I have just returned from visiting Art Expo New York in Manhattan with the President of the Greenwich Workshop, Scott Usher, Vice President for Sales, Vinny Grabowski, and Sales Representative, Steve Resnick.  I brought in the exciting new line of art from Greenwich, which includes new art by Howard Terpning, June Carey, Judy Larson and many other Greenwich artists.
I also had a great time visiting with new talented artist, Jason Mernick, who showed his art in a local Valencia Gallery on Town Center Drive, but is now represented on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country by B&R Gallery.  Jason creates beautiful indoor and outdoor sculpture by brandishing fire, the way artists traditionally use paint.  Jason torches cold, rigid stainless steel and copper into warm, fluid forms.  He transforms these pure, high quality metals into organic growth, lush landscapes and flowing geometric designs.  Mernick has pioneered an exciting new art form, using fire torches to cut and grind and bend.

Also discovered at Art Expo New York are incredible scenes by artist Dan Makin, of paradise with tropical settings of Hawaii, Tahiti, and far away places painted on actual surfboards, which can be hung in the home or office as art items.  The scenes, masterfully painted right on the surfboards, depict incredible tropical places with large waves, romantic places with palm trees, setting sun and sometimes moonlight as well as faraway beach scenes with fantastic surf!  Come in and see these incredible works of “surf art!”

Art can take you away to distant places without having to leave your living room or office.  Please visit us today or see our incredible collection of fine art by going to www.bnr-art.com .
