Isn’t it funny how we tend to take our bodies for granted? There are days when we wake up and find something doesn’t feel right. That’s the day we go off in search of something more, whether it is a visit to the doctor for medication, perhaps some type of holistic treatment to relieve stress or even a visit to the gym to get back into shape.
There are many resources right here in our community. In some cases we have not explored all of our options because we don’t know what’s available. It’s for that reason that SC Physicians Immediate Care along with Advanced Imaging Center is hosting a Health & Fitness Fair on Saturday April 5, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of its facility at the Professional Cinema Center. There will be various medical and health facilities participating at this event and will offer free blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, hearing screenings, and other educational information about your health.
This event is geared to accommodate people of all ages. There will be balloons, a rock climbing wall for the kids and free fingerprinting kits for the first one hundred kids who attend. Free samples and demonstrations will also be provided.
The event will be held at 23501 Cinema Drive across from Trader Joe’s on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You’ll be glad you came out to meet the local doctors, nurse practitioners, vendors, and discover the services that are offered right here in the Santa Clarita Valley.
