If you spend most holidays either alone or with your friends’ families, you might want to read on. I am an older woman who was told many years ago that I could not have children, so as life moved on, I found myself sad, especially on Mother’s Dayâ¯and realized I would never hear anyone call me mom or grandma. Even though I have what I called a perfect life, I feel a tug of sadness when all conversations I’m in with my friends turn to their kids and I have nothing to offer.
In talking with some friends I find I’m not alone and thought there might be others out there who would love to get together on holidays and more with other childless women and men, too!
