The sultry sounds of smooth jazz had fans dancing in the aisles as jazz artists Peter White, Eloise Laws and Santa Clarita’s own sizzling jazz band, SpareTime lit up the stage at College of the Canyons Performing Arts Center on February 25.
White, a British jazz icon headlined the show, wowing the audience with his familiar repertoire of songs. Siren extraordinaire, Eloise Laws vamped up the night with bluesy songs that set the mood for nostalgia and romance. The Hilton family of hotels presented the event as part of the Russ Group’s Jazz Concert Series. The event attracted a crowd of concert-regulars who enjoyed a VIP reception at Salt Creek Grille prior to the show. Kudos goes out to the Russ Group, for once again bringing a superb Smooth Jazz experience to the Santa Clarita Valley.
