…along with California State 38th District Assemblyman Cameron Smyth and Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley’s chief professional officer, Jim Ventress. Mercado, Smyth and Ventress were honored for their commitment to the education and betterment of the youth of the Santa Clarita Valley as part of the HBC’s scholarship program and “Focus on Education.” The event was held earlier this year at All Corked Up, where community members, along with civic and business leaders gathered to celebrate the occasion.
