Hart Show Choir Camp

 We’re back for our 10th summer! Show Choir offers kids the opportunity to learn music, rhythm, choreography, and most importantly, confidence and composure to perform in front of audiences!  This two-week camp is designed to teach, inspire, and have fun.  Kids will be instructed by the choreographers and musical directors of Hart High School’s nationally award-winning show choirs.  The camp will end with a finale showcase full of group numbers, solo acts, and a dance ensemble to show-off all the hard work from the two weeks of camp!  The Summer Show Choir Camp is open to anyone regardless of school registration.
Held at Hart High School, every boy and girl entering 5th grade in Fall 2017 and older are invited to attend. The camp is two weeks long, Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. starting on Monday, July 10 and ending Friday, July 21.  The final showcase is held on Saturday, July 22 at 6 p.m.  All experience levels are invited.  With a combined total of over 40 hours of singing and dancing, we build up the basics by focusing on group numbers, both musically and choreographically.  We split into groups according to age levels/ability to allow for individualized growth.  Our more experience campers have the opportunity to shine with solo acts, group acts, and a dance ensemble in addition to the big group numbers all campers participate in.  Hart’s Summer Show Choir Camp is an opportunity to grow, but it’s also a great way to meet other students all over the Santa Clarita Valley.  With a fun staff of directors and counselors, we make sure it isn’t all work and no play!  We have theme days, game days, souvenirs and more!
